El Valencia Athletics Club, the most successful club in Spanish athletics, celebrated the official presentation of the Provincial Council School, the largest in Spain, kicking off the 2025-2026 school year with an event filled with excitement, talent, and the future.
The event brought together hundreds of boys and girls, accompanied by their coaches, in a day that was attended by Vicente José Mompó, president of the Valencia Provincial Council; Rocio Gil, Councilor for Sports at Valencia City Council; and Rafa Blanquer, president of the Valencia Athletics Club.

The great protagonist of the day was María Pérez, a member of the club for a decade and one of the most outstanding athletes in world athletics. The Paris 2024 Olympic champion—a four-time world champion and European champion—attended the event with the two gold medals (20 km and 35 km walk) she recently won at the World Championships in Tokyo, sparking admiration among young athletes and once again becoming an example of effort and perseverance.

From 42K, We are proud to be the new technical brand of the Valencia Athletics Club and accompany the club in this new phase, outfitting both its elite athletes and the youngest ones who are beginning to take their first steps in athletics.
Supporting those who make this sport great from the ground up is part of our commitment to the future of athletics.
