El CD Metaesport Riba-roja de Túria began its career in September 2012, under the technical direction of Toni Montoya Vieco.

In its early years, the club had a primarily grassroots focus, centering its participation in various races in the city of Valencia. However, starting in the 2015-2016 season, it expanded its scope to include federated sport, obtaining the national license granted by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.

The club's main mission is to support its members in achieving their individual goals, using collective objectives as a means to enhance each athlete's personal development.

Currently, the club participates in federated Cross Country, Road and Trail competitions in the Spanish Club Championships, with a strong commitment to promoting the youth categories to ensure a solid generational renewal in the senior category. At the grassroots level, it maintains an active presence in both the events held in the city of Valencia and various competitions in the Camp de Túria region.
