The 42K<\/strong> sports project continues to expand with the addition of four athletes with enormous potential and present success: Bea \u00c1lvarez, Jimena Blanco, Rosal\u00eda T\u00e1rraga, and Elia Saura<\/strong>. Four of the best Spanish distance specialists, members of Valencia Club Atletismo<\/strong><\/a>, recent bronze medalists at the Spanish Cross Country Championship<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

Their arrival strengthens 42K’s commitment to elite athletics and continued support for athletes who represent the brand’s values: dedication, effort, growth, and passion for athletics and running.<\/p>\n

The new additions stand out both for their competitive quality and the progression shown in recent seasons. These four athletes have significant experience in distance races, cross country, and road events<\/strong>, and join a project that supports national talent and the development of women’s athletics. <\/p>\n

The addition of this quartet of high-level runners represents a new boost to the 42K philosophy: supporting athletes who are role models for runners in lower categories<\/strong>, backing their careers, and building, together with them, a project that grows every day.<\/p>\n

Bea \u00c1lvarez, Jimena Blanco, Rosal\u00eda T\u00e1rraga, and Elia Saura become part of a roster of athletes that already includes leading names in Spanish athletics, such as Ferm\u00edn Cacho, Javi Guerra, Haussame Benabbou, Seve Felipe, sisters Mar\u00eda and Luc\u00eda Valero, Laura Domene, Andrea Torres, Luc\u00eda Santamar\u00eda, Paula Blanquer, Evelyn Yankey, Elena Guiu, Alex Ortiz, Alejandra Segu\u00ed, H\u00e9ctor Tols\u00e1, Iv\u00e1n Penalba, and Carmen P\u00e9rez, among other athletes.<\/p>\n

Beatriz \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>: This distance runner from Asturias was born in Gij\u00f3n on December 16, 1994, and has been achieving strong results in track, cross country, and road racing since a young age. National champion in different categories from U18 to U23, she won the absolute gold in the 5,000m in 2021, and has represented Spain at events including the 2022 European Championships in Munich, where she finished 15th in the 10,000m. <\/p>\n

Jimena Blanco.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jimena Blanco<\/strong>: This runner from Madrid (August 24, 2004) is one of the greatest promises in Spanish distance running. Despite her youth, she has already been crowned Spanish U23 Trail Champion in 2024, national runner-up in trail and cross country U23 in 2025, and holds the Madrid 10K record. She also has experience representing Spain at the 2022 U20 European Trail Championship, the 2023 U20 World Cross Country Championship, and is part of the U23 team for the 2025 European Cross Country Championship. <\/p>\n

Rosal\u00eda T\u00e1rraga.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Rosal\u00eda T\u00e1rraga<\/strong>: Another well-established name in Spanish distance running. This athlete from Alatoz, Albacete (November 3, 1996) has an extensive athletic record that includes national absolute bronze medals in 2018 in the 800m and in 2022 in the 1,500m. Her experience representing the Spanish National Team includes events such as the 2022 European Cross Country Championship in Turin, where she was part of the continental runner-up relay team, and she also competed in the mixed relays at the 2023 European Championship and the 2023 World Championship in Bathurst, Australia. <\/p>\n

Elia Saura.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Elia Saura<\/strong>: This Catalan runner (Barcelona, October 5, 2000) is a regular in the top 10 of the Spanish rankings for the 3,000m indoors and 1,500m outdoors. Her record includes national championship titles from U16 to U23 categories, she has represented Spain on eight occasions at continental and world championships in both track and cross country, finishing 6th in Europe in the 3,000m while still in the U20 category. In fact, while still U20, she was part of the European Cross Country mixed relay team. Additionally, she still holds the Catalonia U23 record in the 3,000m. <\/p>\n
