Within the project that 42K has been developing for years in athletics and the running world, the commitment to supporting and sponsoring athletes<\/strong> has taken on an increasingly important role. Our commitment covers both young talents who are beginning to stand out on the regional and national scene, and established athletes with extensive experience in top-level competitions. At 42K, we believe in the present and the future<\/strong>, but we also want to continue highlighting the legacy and experience of those who are already part of the history and pride of our athletics. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re proud to have ambassadors as charismatic and influential as Ferm\u00edn Cacho<\/a> and Javi Guerra<\/a>; athletes who shine in international ultradistance such as Iv\u00e1n Penalba<\/a> and Carmen Mar\u00eda P\u00e9rez<\/a>; standout triathletes like Alejandra Segu\u00ed<\/a> and Hector Tols\u00e1; as well as young prospects who are making their mark across different categories and who will undoubtedly write new pages of success in Spanish athletics.<\/p>\n

Our commitment to the future of the sport is reflected in the growing list of young athletes we work with, including names such as Mar\u00eda Valero, Laura Domene, Alex Ortiz and Luc\u00eda Santamar\u00eda, among others.<\/p>\n

Three promising athletes from Valencia Club Atletismo <\/a><\/strong>now join this group, and their progress is reason for optimism: Paula Blanquer<\/strong>, one of Spain\u2019s leading 60 m and 100 m hurdling athletes; Elena Guiu<\/strong>, a benchmark in national sprinting; and Evelyn Yankey<\/strong>, a long jumper tipped to go very far. All three are part of a new generation that can leave its mark on Spanish athletics. <\/p>\n

Paula Blanquer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Paula Blanquer<\/strong>: Valencian hurdler born on July 1, 2003. She has been a seven-time Spanish champion<\/strong>\u2014from U20 to senior\u2014and has earned a senior international cap, winning the bronze medal at the 2024 Ibero-American Championships in Cuiab\u00e1<\/strong>. She competed at the Espoo 2023 and Bergen 2025 European U23 Championships, and was also a finalist (6th) at the 2022 World U20 Championships in Cali<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Elena Guiu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Elena Guiu<\/strong>: Aragonese sprinter born in Velilla de Cinca (Huesca) on June 16, 2004. She is a 15-time Spanish champion\u2014from U16 to U23\u2014<\/strong> and has represented Spain at senior level at the European Team Championships and at the World Relays in Guangzhou 2025. She placed 8th in the 100 m at the 2022 World U20 Championships and competed at the Tallinn 2021 and Jerusalem 2023 European U20 Championships. <\/p>\n

Evelyn Yankey<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Evelyn Yankey<\/strong>: Valencian long jumper born on September 2, 2003. She is the current Spanish U23 long jump champion<\/strong>, both indoors and outdoors. She competed at the World U20 Championships in Nairobi\u2014where she placed 11th\u2014and Cali 2022\u2014finishing 7th\u2014as well as at the Tallinn 2021 European U20 Championships\u2014where she also placed 7th. In 2025, she jumped 6.79 m in Soria, a mark that places her as the seventh-best Spanish athlete of all time. <\/p>\n
