Last June 24, we held a very special event at 42K: our first Press Day<\/em><\/strong>, a day that brought together at our facilities some of the country\u2019s leading specialist athletics and running journalists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The goal was clear: to present our big new arrivals for this season first-hand\u2014the new Elastter<\/strong> fabric and the Apex<\/strong> and Deep<\/strong> collections\u2014but also to share the essence of who we are as a brand: a company that runs, evolves, and keeps up a strong pace of innovation and textile development for running and athletics.<\/p>\n

The event was much more than a product presentation. It was a complete experience where the press could see, experience and test first-hand how we work at 42K and what makes our technical garments different. <\/p>\n

Elastter: technology in the service of movement<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The highlight of the day was the official presentation of the Elastter<\/strong><\/a> fabric, our key technical bet for this season. It\u2019s a next-generation fabric made up of 88% recycled polyester<\/strong> and 12% spandex<\/strong>, developed to offer an extended range of motion<\/strong>, greater lightness, and total adaptability to the runner\u2019s body. <\/p>\n

One of Elastter\u2019s standout qualities is its two-way stretch<\/strong>, which allows garments to fit the body without restricting movement, resulting in a feeling of freedom and smoothness that\u2019s perfect for both intense training and racing. Plus, its recycled composition reflects 42K\u2019s commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation<\/strong>, something increasingly valued by runners, event organizers and partner brands. <\/p>\n

Apex and Deep collections: the big new arrivals for 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alongside Elastter, the press was able to take an in-depth look at our two new collections made with this innovative fabric: Apex<\/strong> and Deep<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Apex<\/strong><\/a> is our new range of technical tank top shirts, designed for running with maximum lightness. It\u2019s available in four vibrant colours and features a completely updated pattern in the women\u2019s model, with a looser fit and side slits for greater freedom of movement. Apex is the ideal collection for the warmer months and is perfect for runners looking for performance without giving up comfort. <\/p>\n

Deep<\/strong>, meanwhile, represents the highest level of performance in our catalogue. It\u2019s a collection of short-sleeve technical T-shirts with a contemporary, elegant design inspired by the colours and textures of the ocean. Deep\u2019s big innovation is the addition of laser micro-perforation<\/strong> zones on the front side panels, which significantly improves ventilation in key areas of the body during effort. Combined with the stretch and lightness of Elastter fabric, Deep is a T-shirt designed to support those who train and compete with high standards and passion. <\/p>\n

A complete behind-the-scenes experience at 42K<\/strong><\/h3>\n

But beyond presenting collections, we wanted this Press Day to offer an immersive experience. That\u2019s why, after an official welcome and the presentation of the new arrivals, we invited attendees to tour our facilities<\/strong> from the inside: from design spaces to production and printing workshops, as well as the administration, sales, logistics and quality control departments. <\/p>\n

During the tour, journalists and communicators were able to interact with the 42K team<\/strong>, share impressions with our technicians, and gain a deep understanding of the entire process behind a high-performance technical garment. It was a valuable moment to show how teamwork, textile expertise and actively listening to athletes are key to ensuring each collection reaches the track, the mountains or the start line with confidence. <\/p>\n

Training, product testing and running in great company<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The most anticipated moment of the day was the final training session, a real-world product test<\/strong>. Attendees geared up in Apex and Deep T-shirts and took part in a running session where they could personally experience the performance of our garments: lightness, breathability, freedom of movement and an anatomical fit. <\/p>\n

But the training had an extra incentive: journalists ran alongside some of our most iconic ambassadors<\/strong>. Leading the group was Olympic champion Ferm\u00edn Cacho<\/strong><\/a>, a living legend of Spanish athletics, followed by the unstoppable Javi Guerra<\/strong><\/a>, who continues to deliver standout performances at top-level events. Athletes Mar\u00eda and Luc\u00eda Valero<\/strong>, Marta Olmedo<\/strong> and Havana Kofi<\/strong> also took part\u2014leading figures in different disciplines and strong advocates of our technical garments. <\/p>\n

Sharing kilometres with these athletes was a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, talk about real sensations with the garments, and wrap up the day in a sporty, friendly and motivating atmosphere.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, 42K\u2019s managing director, Guillermo Pe\u00f1alver<\/strong>, shared a few words with attendees: <\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, it\u2019s been a real honour to welcome so many sports journalism professionals into our home. We wanted to show who we are, how we work and where we\u2019re headed. Having the chance to explain in person the effort behind our garments\u2014and for them to try them out while running\u2014is the best way to convey what it means to us to innovate, design and produce high-performance technical clothing for running\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why opening our doors, sharing our work and listening to their feedback is essential for us to keep growing as a brand and to keep offering the best to the world of running and athletics\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Press Day<\/em> on June 24 marked a turning point in how we present our new arrivals. It not only helped give visibility to our new collections and technical fabric, but also strengthened the bond between 42K and those who share the passion for running. <\/p>\n
