Several thousand 42K<\/strong> technical t-shirts will travel to various areas of Africa in the coming months with staff from Formaci\u00f3n Senegal<\/a><\/strong>, an NGO<\/strong> (non-governmental development organization) chaired by Antonio Zamorano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

42K and Formaci\u00f3n Senegal have reached an agreement to bring 42K technical t-shirts to different rural schools<\/strong> in the department of Keb\u00e8mer (Senegal)<\/strong> and in Bamako (Mali’s capital)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

42K technical t-shirts to promote school sports in Senegal and Mali<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Formaci\u00f3n Senegal is a non-profit NGO that works in the Sahel<\/a> on various projects to promote access to basic rights such as education and healthcare.<\/p>\n

One of these projects involves the promotion of school sports<\/strong> as part of strengthening schooling to encourage the necessary social transformation that helps combat rural exodus.<\/p>\n

Sport is a cohesive element that provides numerous values helping to strengthen the sense of community, one of the objectives pursued to fight against rural exodus.<\/p>\n

42K kits out an athletics team of around thirty boys and girls<\/h3>\n

In addition to the donation of technical t-shirts for different rural schools in Senegal and Mali, 42K has committed to kitting out an athletics team<\/strong> from the Senegalese town of Ndeur Diop<\/strong> (in the Louga region) as part of the agreement to promote the values that sports practice entails.<\/p>\n

It is a group of approximately thirty schoolchildren<\/strong>, both boys and girls, with ages ranging from 8 to 15 years old. One of the aspects that Antonio Zamorano highlights with emotion is the presence of girls in this athletics team, as in a country where Islam is the predominant religion (almost 97% of the population), the participation of girls in certain activities like sports is sometimes complicated. <\/p>\n

The NGO Formaci\u00f3n Senegal aims to fight poverty and reduce inequalities<\/strong> through the development of different training projects, which mainly focus on the schooling of children and young people and professional training, especially for women from rural environments.<\/p>\n

Formaci\u00f3n Senegal has a constant presence in Senegal through its own staff and also in collaboration with different Senegalese organizations dedicated to local development projects.<\/p>\n
