Carleth is an inspiring example of a popular runner who, with effort, dedication and a lot of discipline, has become a marathoner after becoming a mother and overcoming tears in both meniscuses. She is Venezuelan-American and resides in New York, the city where she trains daily with the hope of continuing to inspire the practice of running. His motto: "If I can do it, you can too." The relationship between Carleth and 42K It started in a special way: one day, we discovered in his attractive Instagram account photos that he was a fan of our clothes and accessories, and from there a nice collaborative relationship began.

Carleth did not consider facing the marathon until one day his eldest son launched the challenge. She started training and preparing her body for the 42,195 km. In 2019 she crossed the finish line of her first New York City Marathon. At the end of 2020, when she was still recovering from a torn meniscus, she set herself a new challenge: qualify for the Boston Marathon; she won the number for the capital of Massachusetts by running the Salisbury marathon in less than 3h40 ′. In October 2021, she fulfilled the dream of being a finisher in Boston (the pandemic delayed her celebration date and it was not held in April as is the tradition) and a month later she completed her second New York marathon. In 2022, on the third Monday in April, she reformed at the Boston outlet and got her second unicorn; in October she debuted in it at the Chicago Marathon and in November she pinned her third finisher's medal in New York.

Carleth studied journalism in her native Venezuela and worked as a technology editor at “El Nacional” in Caracas, one of the country's main newspapers. In 1999 she moved to the United States to get in front of the cameras as a reporter and anchor, first in Florida on the channel 'Bays News 9 en Español' and later in New York on 'NY1 Noticias'. As a reporter in the Big Apple she covered events as relevant as the famous landing in the Hudson River of US Flight 1549. Airways, the visit of Pope Benedict XVI, elections and also many red carpets of film and fashion premieres. She also collaborated in the "De Moda" program on 'Yahoo! en Español', where she had the opportunity to interview Hollywood stars and celebrities from the world of fashion and culture. With her friendly casualness, she says that she had her “15 seconds of fame” when she appeared in the film The Punisher by John Travolta and Thomas Jane. In New York she met and fell in love with a Spaniard with whom she shares her life and has two children. In 2014, when her first child was born, she left the world of television and moved to Madrid, a city where she began running as a form of leisure and to stay in shape, without thinking that she would end up being a marathoner. . After a few years residing in Spain she returned with her family to New York, where she currently resides.
