Ainhoa Brea

Ainhoa Brea is a middle-distance and distance runner who trained on a sports scholarship in the USA and this season competes for Metaesport. She will soon be moving to Kenya to train at altitude and keep pushing her progression forward.

Aitana Ortega Aznar

She discovered athletics at 19, after many years with a racket in her hand. She is the current Valencian Community U23 cross-country champion.

Alejandra Seguí

Alejandra is the current Spanish junior triathlon champion and one of our youngest ambassadors. Behind her sweet, shy manner hides an out-and-out competitor.

Alejandro Ríos

Alejandro Ríos Galindo is an athlete from Puertollano specialising in the 800 metres, an event in which he has won Spanish titles in the U18 and U20 categories. He competes for Club Atletismo Albacete and is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in Spanish middle-distance running.

Alex Ortiz

Alex Ortiz is a middle-distance athlete (800 and 1,500 metres) with several Valencian Community titles over 800 and 1,500 metres. He competes for CD Metaesport and has represented the Valencian Community team at a number of events.

Beatriz Álvarez

Bea Álvarez is one of Spain's great distance runners. The athlete from Asturias has an impressive record on the track, in cross-country and on the road. She has been on the podium at national championships in several age groups since U18, but her great success was the senior 5,000 m gold in 2021. Competing for the Spanish national team she finished 15th over 10,000 m at the 2022 European Championships in Munich.

Borja Añón

Borja Añón is a masters athlete specialising in the marathon. In his early years in athletics he excelled in sprints and hurdles, but over time he established himself over the longer distances, becoming Spanish M35 masters champion over 5,000 m and 10,000 m in 2025. His personal bests are 2:20:09 in the marathon and 1:06:46 in the half marathon.

Carla Masip

Carla Masip, known as the “Lleona del Maestrat”, is an athlete from Castellón who stands for the value of consistency, perseverance and sustained work. After standing out in the younger age groups with a promising career ahead of her, she had to face a three-year break because of injury. Having come close to the podium several times since her return, in 2026 she became Spanish 1,500 metres indoor champion, the culmination of an exemplary comeback.

Carmen María Pérez

Carmen Pérez is the best Spanish woman ultra-distance runner, as her Spanish records over 24H, 12H, 6H, 100 kilometres and 50 miles prove. In 2024 she finished second at the Spartathlon and in 2025 she became W40 24-hour world champion at the World Championships in Albi, with 249.480 km.

Carolina Sala Picazo

Taekwondo lost an athlete and race walking gained one. Carolina is one of the young talents of Spanish race walking. She holds the Club Atletismo Albacete all-time records over 3,000 m on the track and 10 km on the road, as well as the Castilla-La Mancha U20 record over 5,000 m.

Evelyn Yankey

Evelyn is one of the great hopes of Spanish long jumping. At just 17 she had already cleared 6 metres, and in 2025 she jumped 6.79 m, the seventh-best Spanish mark in history. In 2025 she took the top step of the podium at the Spanish U23 Championships and a year later she won senior bronze at the Spanish Short Track Championships.

Fran Naranjo

Sport is both Fran's profession and his passion. After many successes in national OCR events, in 2022 he decided to focus on long-distance trail running with the challenge of racing UTMB MONT-BLANC 2024.

Héctor Tolsa

Héctor Tolsá is one of the most promising young Spanish triathletes. He has a silver medal from the 2022 European Youth Championships, a 5th place at the 2024 Junior World Championships and three Spanish national titles (2022, 2024 and 2025).

Houssame Benabbou

Houssame Benabbou is a Spanish athlete specialising in distance running and cross-country. Raised in Extremadura from the age of seven, in 2014 he obtained Spanish nationality and made his international debut with a bronze medal over 10,000 m at the U23 Mediterranean Games. He has been Spanish champion in several age groups and disciplines. His Spanish senior half marathon titles in 2018, 2019 and 2021 stand out, along with two runner-up finishes (2022 and 2023). In 2022 he was European 50 km road champion.

Iván Martos

Iván is a personal trainer specialising in HIIT and one of the pioneers of HYROX training and competition in Spain.

Iván Penalba

Iván Penalba is a one-of-a-kind athlete. His name is tied to feats and records that are out of reach for most mortals. Running ultra distances on a track, on a loop course or in extreme races is his passion and, as he puts it himself, what gives his life meaning.

Kike Ríos

Kike Ríos is an athlete who dreamed of being a coach from a very young age. "I have always enjoyed the challenge of helping people reach their sporting goals, whatever their age and level", he says.

Laura Domene

Laura Domene is a distance runner specialising in road, track and cross-country events. She currently holds the Valencian Community regional record over 10K, an achievement that reflects her consistency, talent and high competitive level.

Lucía Santamaría

Lucía Santamaría is an athlete specialising in the 800 metres, an event in which she won gold at the Spanish U20 Indoor Championships (Sabadell, 2023). She competes for Metaesport and has represented both the Valencian and the Spanish national teams.

Lucía Valero Garrido

Lucía Valero is an athlete with outstanding results in middle-distance and distance events in the U23 category. In 2026 she returns to the Metaesport colours, the club where she started competing at the age of 9.

María Valero Garrido

María Valero has excelled in middle-distance and also in distance events, competing for Metaesport and for the Valencian Community team.

Marina Altur

Marina Altur is a young athlete who made her debut for Valencia Club Atletismo in 2026. She grew up as an athlete at CA Guadassuar and later at CA Safor Teika, with strong results in every age group.

Marta Olmedo Lluna

Marta Olmedo was an elite athlete and competed for clubs such as Atlético San Sebastián, FC Barcelona and Playas de Castellón. Her speciality was the 800 metres, a middle-distance event she combined with the 400 metres. She was Valencian Community champion over both distances on several occasions.

Noémie Bellenger

Noémie Bellenger is a French athlete specialising in the 400 and 800 metres. Her most notable achievement is the bronze medal over 800 m at the 2022 French U23 Championships. She has also taken silver over 800 m at the 2024 French Open and at the 2025 French National Indoor Championships.

Paula Blanquer

Paula Blanquer is an athlete specialising in the 60 and 100 m hurdles, where she stands out for her speed, technique and potential in Spanish athletics. The daughter of the illustrious Rafa Blanquer, one of the best-known figures in Spanish athletics, Paula continues a sporting tradition marked by passion, hard work and commitment to the sport. Her progression through the youth categories makes her one of the most promising Spanish hurdlers on the current scene.

Rosalía Tárraga

Rosalía Tárraga has grown up in Spanish middle-distance and distance running, all the way to the top step of the podium at the 2026 Spanish 5K Championships. Born in Alatoz, in the province of Albacete, she has a long track record that also includes the national senior bronze medals won in 2018 over 800 m and in 2022 over 1,500 m. Competing for the Spanish national team she took silver at the 2022 European Cross-Country Championships (Turin) with the relay squad, and she was also part of the mixed relays at the 2023 European Championships and at the World Championships in Bathurst (Australia) that same year.

Sete Cerdán de la Torre

Sete has built up long experience in races over any distance. He has been a finisher at several Ironman events, has run more than twenty marathons (in 2024 in Seville he set his PB with 2h34'45") and for some years now he has thrown himself body and soul into long-distance trail running.
