Another detail worth telling is that Bea trains in shoes with no carbon plate and no latest-generation foams. In CORREDOR magazine, shortly after taking silver over 3,000 m at the Spanish indoor championships in March 2026, she said this: “I have used insoles since I was 15 because I have a very high arch; they are very thick insoles and my foot does not sit properly in modern shoes, so it is as if I had double cushioning”. When she competes on the road and on the track (in spikes) she does not use insoles and she does wear latest-generation shoes. “In training I always go out in old shoes. I am clear that in training I am going to be slower than in competition”.
