Creando Sonrisas

Creando Sonrisas is a charity initiative of the Creando Sonrisas, Ultrafondo Solidario Association. This non-profit association was set up to make the great dream of runner Iván Penalba come true: raising funds for bodies and associations that work with people with disabilities. Penalba has spent years taking on ultra-distance challenges and competing in the most prestigious ultramarathon events, spreading his motto for life: "creando sonrisas" (creating smiles). The athlete from Valencia turns his efforts and the kilometres he covers into help for people with disabilities and, in this way, "creates smiles" of happiness. In 2022, inspired by Iván Penalba, the Creando Sonrisas, Ultrafondo Solidario Association was created. Its aim is to raise funds to be given in full to projects run by associations whose purpose is the development, integration, normalisation and rights of people with disabilities. One of the ways of raising money is through the sale of 42K Creando Sonrisas technical products. Part of the price of these products is donated to the CREANDO SONRISAS, ULTRAFONDO SOLIDARIO Association, which decides which projects the money raised goes to. The aim of the Creando Sonrisas products is to give visibility to this association at the various challenges that Iván Penalba takes part in, along with the other runners who are members of the association.
