What you might not know about Marta…

Marta has lived with sport since the day she was born. She grew up watching her father do athletics and her mother play tennis, so from a very early age she knew she wanted to devote herself to sport. She liked so many disciplines, however, that for years she practised tennis, swimming, skiing, skating, dance and athletics. When the time came to choose she tried to combine tennis with athletics, but in the end she opted for the spikes. Over time athletics won out over the racket and became a hobby shared by her whole family.
