In recent years, numerous miracle diets and different styles of eating have not stopped emerging.limentation but, would you know how to differentiate one concept from the other? Nope? Attentive!
miracle diets
could be defined miracle diets like those that promise/ensure wonderful, immediate results and on many occasions without excessive effort. They tend to lack scientific foundation, have very flashy names and usually eliminate many groups of aliment. Examples: Hollywood Diet, Grapefruit Diet, etc. In summary THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
styles from tolimentation
On the contrary the styles of alimentation rather they attend to ethical and moral questions. In this case, if they are well planned by a dietitian-nutritionist, they provide us with everything we need to HAVE A GOOD STATE OF HEALTH. Examples: Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Diet, Vegan Diet, Paleo Diet, etc.
We will focus our attention on one of the most talked about diets of the last decade: the Paleolithic Diet (Paleo Diet)
What is?
The paleo diet is based on taking a style of alimentation like our Paleolithic ancestors with the premise that at that time there were no pathologies such as diabetes mellitus or cancer, but ignoring that the average life expectancy was around 20-25 years, so it was not enough for its appearance.
<h3Can it be healthy?
Of course yes, in fact it has a very positive point such as the elimination of all thelimeultra-processed nuts how harmful they are to our health, but this should not be exclusive to the paleo diet, you can eat everything and eliminate (or substantially reduce) this type of aliments of ourlimedaily ntation.
What tolimentos suppresses?
In this style oflimentation are eliminated apart from the already mentioned ultra-processed products (such as soft drinks, pastries and industrialized products) dairy products, pasta, rice, bread, cereals, and legumes. What does this imply? That to have a balanced and healthy diet we will have to resort to monotonous menus, in addition to always assuming a calcium deficit, by not consuming milk, cheese, yogurts or vegetable-based drinks (such as soy, almonds, oats, rice ...).
What tolimeHow much does it allow?
Allows the consumption of potatoes, fruit, vegetables, nuts, meat, fish and eggs. As you can see, all of them arelimeThey are super healthy, but they don't allow us too much variety in the menus.
In short, the paleo diet is a style of alimehealthy eating, but as a dietitian-nutritionist I would not recommend it due to its monotony, greater elaboration, suppression oflimehealthy and above all, because it does not improve the results obtained with a healthy, varied and balanced diet correctly planned.

Interesting article, although cow's milk and its derivatives are not the only source of calcium, nor the most important.
Monotonous? Well, you won't know how to cook of course.
Indeed, I did not like the article at all, it denotes a lack of knowledge about this fairly large diet. A good paddle is not mononymous, and also does not allow ULTRA-PROCESSED, it must be all natural ... Greetings.
Very good article about the paleo diet!!
