Eight warning symptoms of a tired body due to excessive training 1

Eight warning symptoms of a body tired from overtraining

by Paco Amoros

Today, in our space sports health, we leave you with these eight warning symptoms of an organism tired from overtraining. If this happens to you, we recommend stop your workouts or lower the intensity.

1. Sleep disorders: Both insomnia and excessive sleep can be the signs that indicate rest. Getting a good night's sleep is essential in the life of anyone, including athletes, but if even sleeping well you cannot be rested, it may be that you are forcing the machine too much.

2. Disturbances in the activities of everyday life: Over-training can disrupt job performance, relationships with friends and family, and other everyday situations. Don't stop going out, studying, or getting together with friends just to run a little more. Try not to just focus on training, training and training. Your life is much more than that.

3. Lesions begin to appear: If you run excessively, do not rest between workouts and/or do not stretch enough, injuries can start to appear and you may have to stop forcibly.

4. Your defenses are down: If you catch a cold or get sick more than usual, it may be because you're trying harder than you should. A tired body is more susceptible to disease.

5.  Increased resting heart rate: That signal can be a problem. The body loses the ability to calm down and adjust metabolism. If at rest the heart rate is higher than normal, consequently during the run - or any other physical effort - it will rise even more.

6. Lack of motivation to train: Although it is a short training, the runner loses the desire to do it. The activity loses its meaning and the pleasure of putting on your shoes and going for a run is no longer present.

7. Mood swings: It is one of the most obvious signs. Being more irritable, losing patience at the slightest change,... can be symptoms of exhaustion.

8. Low performance: The drop in training performance is evident due to various factors, such as muscle fatigue and hormonal dysregulation.
