KMSXELA, the technical garments that give visibility to ALS

La Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) It is a neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor neurons of the brain, brainstem, and spinal cord, which are the cells responsible for transmitting the brain's command for voluntary movement to the muscles. The degeneration of these motor neurons causes the brain to progressively lose its ability to control muscle movement. Affected individuals experience muscle atrophy, which, as it progresses, leads to progressive paralysis. In addition to affecting motor autonomy, it also impairs speech, swallowing, and breathing. Currently There is not a cure for this disease which, in general, evolves very quickly and there is still no treatment available to slow down or stop the degenerative process. KMSXELA is a private initiative emerged from the determination of a fan of running, Xavi, for lending a hand to help give ALS visibility and also collaborate in the fundraising that are earmarked for research into this disease. The T-shirts running kmsxela were the first technical garments launched, and later other technical products such as sweatshirts, bandanas, arm warmers, etc. were added. A portion of the proceeds from these kmsxela solidarity products is donated to... Catalan ALS Foundation Miquel VallsThis non-profit organization promotes all kinds of actions aimed at improving the quality of life of people affected by ALS and their families. There are already hundreds of [correspondents/companies/etc.]redpray and heartredYou pray throughout Spain that they wear the colors of KMSXELA to help give visibility to this terrible disease.
