What you might not know about Noémie…
She rode horses for eleven years, but when she reached secondary school she chose athletics. She says she specialised in the 400 m and 800 m “quite naturally”. “The club coaches quickly noticed my endurance and my speed. They steered me towards the track early on with the 400 metres. After Covid we moved up to the 800 metres, but without giving up the 400, because it is a distance that helps me prepare for the 800”, she explains.
