42K has started collaborating as a technical brand with Aitana Martín Bautista from Castilla-La Mancha, a U14 runner who recently finished fourth in the Cross Ciudad de Valladolid. 42K supports Aitana Martín Bautista because she is a promising athlete who has already started to stand out and shine in cross-country and middle-distance events in the province of Toledo.
As a company specializing in running sportswear, we support athlete Aitana Martín Bautista by providing her with various technical gear for both her running and strength training sessions.
Who is Aitana Martín Bautista?
Aitana Martín Bautista is a very young athlete from Talavera de la Reina. She is the niece of the rider Alvaro Bautista, 125cc motorcycle world champion (2006) and world runner-up in 250cc (2008) and Superbikes (2019).
Like many other children in the province of Toledo, she started running for fun, but it was soon clear that her legs held a special talent for athletics.

Aitana Martín Bautista, coached and prepared by Aarón de la Cuadra
At just over 11 years old, Aitana Martín Bautista caught the attention of former professional athlete Aarón de la Cuadra, owner and director of the company Evedeport, who is currently managing her preparation.
“I’ve spent practically my whole life, as they say, living among athletes. When I first saw Aitana run, I immediately realized she has a special talent for middle distance. Those of us who have dedicated ourselves to this –De la Cuadra achieved his best times in the 1,500m– have a sixth sense for identifying that special ‘something’ that suggests someone has special conditions for athletics. I am convinced that Aitana can be a great athlete because she has innate talent.”

1,000m in 3:20
Aitana, with only one year of experience in athletics, is capable of running 1,000m in 3:20. “As a U14, she can be among the top 5 athletes in Spain in the 1,000m and I believe her progression can be extraordinary. Last year she already ran the 1,000m in 3:20, but I’m sure she will significantly improve that mark in no time,” says De la Cuadra.

- Cross de los Molinos: 1st.
- Espada Toledana: 2nd.
- Atapuerca International Cross Country: 11th.
- Itálica International Cross Country: 6th.
- Alcobendas International Cross Country: 4th.
- Sonseca National Cross Country: 1st.
- Cantimpalos Cross Country: 1st.
“She has managed to be among the best runners in Spain and that shows she has great talent,” says her coach. “She is at an age of many changes, but we are very optimistic about her projection. She is disciplined and very enthusiastic when it comes to training and competing. Everything suggests she could be one of the runners who does important things in Spanish national athletics in the coming years,” concludes Aarón de la Cuadra.
