Testimonials from those crazy people who run

Surely many of you know the famous video "Those Crazy Who Run" narrated by the Uruguayan writer and runner, Marciano Duran.

The video went viral between the "crazy" ones we practice running. Some of the parts of the video say:

Those crazy people who run I know them. I've seen them a lot. They are rare. Some go out early in the morning and strive to beat the sun. Others get sunstroke at noon, get tired in the afternoon, or try not to be hit by a truck at night. They are crazy. In summer they run, jog, perspire, dehydrate and finally get tired… just to enjoy the rest. In winter they cover up, bundle up, complain, get cold, catch a cold, and let the rain wet their faces. I have seen them.

They pass fast along the boulevard, slowly through the trees, winding dirt roads, climbing cobbled slopes, jogging on the shoulder of a lost highway, dodging waves on the beach, crossing wooden bridges, stepping on dry leaves, climbing hills, jumping puddles, they run through parks, get annoyed at cars that won't slow down, shoot a dog and run, run, run. They listen to music that accompanies the rhythm of their legs, they listen to the horneros and the seagulls, they listen to their heartbeat and their own breathing, they look ahead, they look at their feet, they smell the wind that passed through the eucalyptus trees, the breeze that came out of the orange trees , breathe the aire that comes from the pines and they stop when they pass in front of the jasmines.
