Diputación School Valencia Athletics Club Presentation

The Valencia Athletics Club, the most awarded club in Spanish athletics, held the official presentation of the Diputación School, the largest in Spain, kicking off the 2025-2026 academic year with an event full of excitement, talent, and future.

The event brought together hundreds of boys and girls, accompanied by their coaches, at an event attended by Vicente José Mompó, President of the Valencia Provincial Council; Rocío Gil, Sports Councillor for València City Council; and Rafa Blanquer, President of the Valencia Athletics Club.

The main star of the day was María Pérez, a club member for a decade and one of the most outstanding athletes in world athletics. The Olympic champion in Paris 2024 — a four-time world champion and European champion — attended the event with the two gold medals (20 km and 35 km race walk) recently won at the World Championships in Tokyo, sparking admiration from the youngest attendees and once again becoming an example of effort and perseverance.

At 42K, we are proud to be the new technical brand of the Valencia Athletics Club and to accompany the club in this new phase, dressing both its elite athletes and the youngest ones taking their first steps in athletics.
