One of the key highlights of this collection is the Elastter fabric, our most advanced material to date: ultra-lightweight, silky to the touch, with two-way stretch, and made with 88% recycled polyester.
This new premium fabric combines 88% recycled polyester and 12% spandex/elastane (a fibre known for its ability to stretch and return to its original shape without losing form). Elastter is an ultra-lightweight, soft technical fabric with two-way stretch that adapts to the body to ensure comfort, lightness, freedom of movement, and sustainability.

Apex debuts a new women’s pattern
Apex isn’t just a new collection: it reflects everything we learn every day from our ambassadors (elite and amateur athletes), who suggest and recommend improvements to help us evolve our garments.
One of the most important milestones of the Apex collection is the launch of a new women-specific pattern. At 42K we’ve been listening to our athletes for a long time, and their input has helped us design a women’s tank top that truly fits the needs of a body in motion.
This new pattern features a wider cut at the hips and adds small side vents to improve freedom of movement and provide extra ventilation. All of this without giving up the ergonomic fit that defines our technical apparel. The racerback design also helps prevent chafing, especially at contact points with a sports bra, and allows full freedom of movement in the shoulders.
The result is a tank top that not only looks great, but also lets you run in total comfort, both in training and in competition.
Designed for summer, built to perform
The Apex collection was designed with summer in mind. Each garment was created to optimise ventilation, lightness, and comfort during the hottest days of the year. Elastter fabric, used across the entire collection, is made of 88% recycled polyester sourced from used plastic bottles. This focus on sustainable materials is part of 42K’s plan so that by 2030, its entire technical running top catalogue will be made exclusively from recycled fabrics.
