TriActive is the name of a new 100% recycled technical fabric that is being added to the 42K catalog to create running shirts of the highest technical quality while also being environmentally friendly.

This fabric, made from 100% recycled polyester, stands out for its incredible lightness and softness. Its lightness (a unisex size M shirt weighs 104g) guarantees excellent breathability and, therefore, shirts made with this new fabric excel in their ability to wick away and dry sweat quickly.

TriActive fabric features ‘Dry-Tec+’, ‘SoftLight’, and ‘DC4′ technologies that enhance its technical qualities for creating specific running and athletics shirts. These technologies applied to the fabric ensure quick drying, softness, and color retention.

TriActive and Infini_Tech, two 100% recycled fabrics

The arrival of the recycled TriActive fabric reinforces 42K’s commitment to sustainability.

Since 2020, 42K has used Infini_Tech fabric, a technical fabric made entirely from polyester yarn recycled from used plastic bottles. This fabric has been used to create several highly successful collections such as Ozone, Elements, and Elements Summer, three collections that have received numerous accolades from runners in Spain and countries like Italy, Ireland, Portugal, and France, as well as from clubs and events.

This fabric is also used to make various garments in the Custom Line 42K section, the business line dedicated to manufacturing 100% customized technical garments using digital sublimation for athletics clubs, sports groups, and collectives.

Like Infini_Tech fabric, TriActive ensures the production of technical running shirts of the highest quality, with excellent lightness and breathability, but with a great added value: a lower impact on the planet.

At 42K, we have a firm commitment to sustainability, reflected in our dedication to using fabrics made from recycled polyester.

Since 2020, we have been developing technical running collections made with yarn from recycled plastic bottles, thus contributing to waste reduction and resource utilization. Collections like Elements, Ozone, Motion, Wave, and the recent Pangea are examples of this philosophy, which will continue to guide our path.

All of this journey is part of our goal for 2030: that the entire 42K catalog of technical running shirts will be made exclusively from recycled fabrics. An ambitious challenge that we undertake with determination, aware that every step counts when it comes to caring for the environment in which we live and train.
