42K polarized sunglasses are one more safety element for sports

42K polarized multisport sunglasses, protection for your eyes

by Paco Amorós

The 42K polarized multisport sunglasses are designed to care for your eyes when you play sports. These are three models of unisex polarized sunglasses with great lightness and a wide field of vision. Sunglasses should be considered as one more safety element in many sports, especially those practiced outdoors such as running.

AMBITION, PERSPECTIVE, and OXYGEN are the names of the three models of polarized sunglasses from 42K. These are designs specially created for sports, featuring a polarized polycarbonate lens for optimal vision without reflections, with UV 400 protection and a category 3 solar filter.

42K polarized sunglasses, lightness and wide field of vision

42K polarized sunglasses stand out for their lightness (26 g for the Perspective model and 28 g for the Oxygen and Ambition models) and for a design that offers a wide field of vision, making them perfect for cycling. They also offer a perfect fit to the face thanks to the non-slip rubber on the temples and adjustable nose pads.

Any of the three 42K polarized sunglasses models are perfect for athletes who practice running, trail running, cycling, triathlon, trekking, or hiking, as well as for sports played on the beach such as beach volleyball, beach tennis, etc.

Just as you protect your skin, you should also protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays. Using sunglasses during sports will help you avoid eye fatigue and dryness from moisture loss.

And, of course, they also protect you from other hazards that can damage your eyes when you play sports outdoors, such as sand, insects, tree branches, stones thrown by vehicles, etc.

What is a polarized lens?

A polarized lens is one that has a special filter that blocks reflected light and only lets useful light through, providing vision without reflections and with natural colors, as well as natural contrast.

As is known, natural light from the sun vibrates at any moment in all directions of space, but when it bounces off a horizontal surface (asphalt, snow, water…) it becomes partially polarized, meaning the horizontal component of that vibration increases to the point where it becomes very bright and annoying light, which is what we know as a reflection.

Using polarized sunglasses offers a series of advantages over non-polarized lenses. Among the advantages or benefits that the use of polarized lens sunglasses can offer athletes are vision without reflections, greater and better sharpness and contrast, total protection against UV rays, more natural color vision, reduced eye fatigue, especially for people with high light sensitivity.

Oxygen, Ambition, and Perspective, three models with 2 colors per model

The Oxygen model, available in blue (Blue) and black (Black/red), features a full frame that gives it a strong presence, but with a weight of only 28 grams.
