METAESPORT

CD Metaesport, from Riba-roja de Túria, began its journey in September 2012 under the technical direction of Toni Montoya Vieco.

In its early years the club had a mainly recreational focus, concentrating its participation on various races in the city of Valencia. From the 2015-2016 season onwards, however, it widened its scope towards federated sport, obtaining the national licence granted by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.

The club's main mission is to support its members in achieving their individual goals, using collective objectives as a way of fostering each athlete's personal development.

The club currently takes part in federated Cross Country, Road and Trail competitions at the Spanish Club Championships, with a strong commitment to nurturing the youth categories in order to guarantee a solid generational handover in the senior category. At recreational level, it maintains an active presence both in the events held in the city of Valencia and in various competitions in the Camp de Túria region.
