Héctor Garzó, MotoE World Champion, New 42K Ambassador

by Paco Amorós

At 42K we are proud to announce our new partnership with one of the most prominent names in international motorcycling: Héctor Garzó, current 2024 MotoE World Champion and rider for Dynavolt Intact GP.

This agreement marks a significant step for our brand, as it reflects 42K’s ongoing commitment to high performance, innovation, and sporting excellence. The magnitude of this alliance is of great importance to 42K, as it means having a motorcycling rider who has become a true reference in the MotoE World Championship as our ambassador.

42K and Héctor Garzó: A Partnership to Inspire

This agreement with Héctor Garzó means much more than a one-time collaboration. It is a commitment to shared values: effort, passion for sport, respect for innovation, and the pursuit of optimal performance.

At 42K we will equip Héctor Garzó for all his sporting activities outside of motorcycling, as part of his physical preparation that has long been directed by fitness coach Víctor Gadea, the driving force behind Tribox. In addition, we will design an exclusive line of personalized technical clothing, adapted to his needs as an elite athlete.

In Garzó’s own words: “Physical preparation off the track is key to my performance. Being able to count on a brand like 42K, which is committed to quality, technical design, and innovation, is great support in my day-to-day life as an athlete.”

This alliance also represents a way to build bridges between two seemingly different worlds that have much in common: running and motorcycling. Both require mental strength, constant preparation, body control, and above all, a passion for self-improvement.

Héctor Garzó: Talent, Work, and Evolution

Born in Valencia in 1998, Héctor Garzó has forged an upward trajectory from the lower categories of motorcycling to become one of the World Championship’s leading figures. After starting in national championships, he stood out for his aggressive style and refined technique, which opened the doors to the Moto3 World Championship as a wildcard rider and, later, to the Moto2 World Championship.

In Moto2 he delivered great performances, including podiums and fast laps, which consolidated his reputation as a fast and consistent rider. However, his major breakthrough came in the electric category, MotoE, where he found fertile ground to demonstrate his maturity, adaptability, and competitive instinct.

The 2024 MotoE season was the crowning achievement of his progression: Héctor Garzó was crowned World Champion, demonstrating mental and technical strength on par with the greatest. His victories and consistent performances throughout the championship were key to winning the title.

MotoE: Sustainability, Technology, and Adrenaline

The MotoE World Championship is a 100% electric motorcycle racing competition created by the FIM (International Motorcycling Federation) and promoted by Dorna Sports, the same organization responsible for the MotoGP World Championship. The category was born in 2019 with the goal of offering a sustainable alternative to traditional motorcycling, without sacrificing speed, competition, and excitement on the asphalt.

All motorcycles used in MotoE are electric and are manufactured by a single supplier, ensuring technical equality among participants. The competition has been characterized from its inception by its dynamic format, short races, and a focus on energy efficiency. Despite its youth, MotoE has attracted a large number of followers, professional teams, and top-level riders, establishing itself as a championship of the future.

In the 2023 season, MotoE gained “World Championship” status, placing it on the same level as the other world championship categories. From that moment, the title of MotoE World Champion acquired historical importance.

42K’s Commitment to Sustainability: Toward More Responsible Running

Having an athlete of Héctor Garzó’s caliber as our ambassador drives us to continue innovating and creating solutions for those who live sport with passion, whether they are recreational runners or world champions.

At 42K we believe that athletic performance and respect for the environment must go hand in hand. That’s why, since 2020, we have been actively working to ensure that our technical running collections are not only designed to guarantee comfort and performance, but also to minimize their impact on the planet.

This commitment materialized with the development of our first technical shirts made with recycled polyester yarn, obtained from used plastic bottles (Infini_Tech fabric or TriActive fabric). A firm commitment to a circular economy that has been consolidated over the years with the launch of several 100% recycled collections.

Among them, Elements, Ozone, Motion, and Pangea stand out, the latter being the most recent, all made entirely with high-performance recycled technical fabrics. These collections are the result of constant textile innovation work, which seeks to combine sustainability, lightness, breathability, and freedom of movement for the most demanding athletes.

Now, in 2025, we are doubling down on our commitment: the new collections that will be released in the coming months will debut a new 100% recycled technical fabric, developed to further elevate the quality and performance of our shirts, without compromising our environmental commitment.

This entire journey is part of our goal for 2030: that the entire catalog of 42K technical running shirts be made exclusively with recycled fabrics. An ambitious challenge that we take on with determination, aware that every step counts when it comes to caring for the environment in which we live and train.

Because we believe in a more sustainable future. Because running can also be an act of commitment. And because at 42K we know that every stride counts.

Looking to the Future

The collaboration between 42K and Héctor Garzó is just the beginning. Together we will explore new ways to motivate, equip, and inspire those who share our philosophy of effort, continuous improvement, and respect for sport.

Because at 42K we believe that performance knows no disciplines, only attitude.
